Set up in three steps

  1. Install the plugin

    Upload it to your site and activate it on the Plugins page.

  2. Connect the site

    Accept the terms and click Start without an account. Encypher creates a free workspace for your site, and you can claim it later.

  3. Publish as usual

    Each post gets a C2PA manifestC2PA manifest: The signed label itself: a small package inside a file that records who signed it, what they declared and how to check it. when you publish or update it. Edits are signed again and linked to the earlier version.

Already use Encypher? Connect your existing account to keep the site in your organization, team, billing and reports. The plugin recommends this path.
No account
Click Start without an account. You get a workspace you can claim later, and the posts you signed stay valid.
API key
Paste an API keyAPI key: A secret string that identifies your account when your software calls an API. Keep it out of public code. from the dashboard. Useful when one team runs many sites.

Free for publishers

Enterprise adds controls for large newsrooms. Add-ons such as white-label verification pages and archive backfill work with either plan.

Is the label visible?
No. It is stored as invisible characters in the text, so your posts look the same. Checkers read it out.
Is my content sent to your servers?
Post text goes to Encypher's APIAPI: Application programming interface: a way for one program to ask another to do a job, such as sign a file. to be signed. We create the signature and do not store your full content. See our privacy policy for details.
Does a label prove a post is true?
No. It shows who published it, what they declared about AI, and whether it changed since.
