The Encypher platform
Turn content provenance into evidence you can act on.
Sign content, connect source use to a shared report, and link recovered copies to the original send. One platform supports trust, licensing, compliance, and leak response.

Enterprise needs?
One platform, three outcomes
Mark establishes the record. Meter makes it usable. Trace follows each shared copy.
Start with the problem in front of you. Each product creates evidence the next workflow can use.
One shared evidence chain
A publisher signs a story with Mark. Meter connects that signed source to an AI answer and its reported use. Trace identifies the marked recipient copy if protected material appears where it should not.

Use the public material below for technical diligence. Volume limits, support terms, regional processing, and service levels belong in a scoped pilot and contract. This page does not commit to them.
Use each record where it matters
Trust the source, support the deal, and respond when content moves
Sign once. Use the record for customer trust, licensing talks, and leak response.

Coalition licensing
Encypher authored the C2PA standard for unstructured text and co-chairs the Text Provenance Task Force alongside these member organizations. Logos indicate C2PA membership.
Make the rest of your stack stronger
Add proof where policies, access controls, and detection tools stop
Access controls tell systems what should happen. Detection tools estimate what may have happened. Encypher preserves the signed record of what the content said, who signed it, and how it moved.
Layer 1
Access control
Tell AI crawlers not to scrape. These tools work at the server level, but only when AI companies respect your directives.
Some crawlers ignore these signals. The record inside the file still shows which terms travelled with the work.
Layer 2
Content provenance
Mark signs AI output, published work, and official files. Trace gives each sent copy its own hidden marker. Meter combines signed source records with events a partner shares in a report both sides can review. Meter is an early partner program.
Layer 3
Attribution and monetization
Marketplaces estimate which sources shaped an AI output and route revenue inside their networks. Mark gives them a signed record and terms they can check. Meter can combine that record with events a partner reports for licensing review. Encypher does not price content, broker deals, or move money.
Signed source records make attribution claims easier to check. Meter is an early partner program, and each report says which facts Encypher saw and which a partner supplied.
Interoperability and policy evidence
Each row says what Encypher implements and what that claim does not mean.
For engineers
One API call to sign, one to verify
REST endpoints, drop-in integrations, a free public check, and production controls set by contract.
API specifications
The public facts here stay separate from the limits and service terms we agree for each rollout.
REST API
Full-featured REST API with Python, TypeScript, Go, and Rust SDKs. Batch endpoints for archive workflows.
Integrations
Drop-in plugins for existing workflows. Kafka event streaming for high-throughput pipelines.
- WordPress plugin
- Prebid RTD module (ad-tech)
Injects a signed provenance signal into bid requests, so buyers can treat pages carrying verified content as verified inventory. See verified inventory for programmatic for the full signal; ad-tech integrations run through our partner program.
- CDN edge integrations
- GitHub Action + CLI
- OpenAPI 3.1 spec included
