Good questions.

Does this make us compliant?
It gives you the labels and the records. Your legal team decides which duties apply to you and whether you meet them.
Does the watermark survive every edit?
No watermark survives every edit, resize, or re-encode. Watermarks also cover fewer formats than signing. The check reports what it finds in the copy it gets.
Which C2PA version do you sign with?
C2PAC2PA: The Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity: the group that publishes the open standard for content labels. 2.4 by default. Support varies by format: 76 of our 79 formats list it today. Our formal conformance record covers C2PA 2.2 over 20 media typesMIME type: The standard name for a file format, such as image/jpeg or audio/wav, that software uses to decide how to read a file.. It is not a 2.4 pass.
What about images, audio, and video?
Mark signs those too. Tell us your formats and how you deliver them. Ask about media files.
Why would a checker trust your label?
Encypher wrote C2PA's standard for signing text, which is how Mark labels an AI answer. Our signing product is on the official C2PA Conforming Products ListConforming Products List: The C2PA's public record of products that passed its conformance program.. See the public record.
